How it’s figured
We take the 46 plants in our pollinator list that suit your USDA hardiness zone (official 2023 USDA data via PRISM, one representative zone per ZIP — exact addresses near elevation or water boundaries can vary) and mark each season it typically blooms. Plants tagged “multi” bloom spring through fall and count for all three columns. Any season with fewer than 3 blooming plants gets a gap warning with up to 3 zone-suited plants you could add to fill it. Bloom times are typical ranges, not promises for any single variety or microclimate.
