Pollinator Plant Finder

Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds all shop for flowers differently — tubular red blooms for hummingbirds, flat landing pads for butterflies, pollen-rich singles for bees. Tell us who you’re planting for and when you want the show, and we’ll match you with plants from our 46-plant pollinator list that handle your zone.

Zone data comes from the official USDA 2023 map — one representative zone per ZIP.

Pick your pollinator and zone above to see matching plants.

Tip: plant in drifts of 3 or more of the same plant for real pollinator impact — a single lonely bloom is easy for a foraging bee to miss.

How it’s figured

We filter 46 pollinator-friendly plants by your chosen pollinator (plants tagged for that visitor, plus all-rounders tagged “multiple”), bloom season (“multi” bloomers cover every season), and your USDA hardiness zone (official 2023 USDA data via PRISM, one representative zone per ZIP — exact addresses near elevation or water boundaries can vary). Bloom times and heights are typical ranges, not promises for any single variety.
